Key Services:

  • Workplace Safety for Garrison Employees: Contact us for help with Safety Training for your employees, an unsafe condition at your workplace, or help writing a new process or procedure.
  • Facility Inspections: We inspect all Garrison facilities annually or more often as necessary. We also help tenant units with their facility inspections, based upon support agreements.
  • Facility Work orders for unsafe conditions: We help the garrison's Directorate of Public Works evaluate and prioritize Safety-related work orders. Contact us if you will be submitting a “Life, Safety, and Health” work order.
  • Collateral or Additional Duty Safety Officer (CDSO/ADSO) Training. This course is online. Annually we provide a local practical course; primarily for Garrison CDSOs.  Contact us for course availability.
  • Accident Reporting:  We advise Garrison supervisors using the online “Report It” tool to report accidents involving their employees.
  • Traffic Safety Training:  Motorcycle Training Courses are supplied to all Active Duty Soldiers at no cost  (Family members and civilians must contact civilian training sources for these classes).  Units with Soldiers aged “under 26” can schedule Intermediate Driver Courses. The Department of the Army has launched a new website that provides on-line registration and management of traffic safety training courses for the Army Traffic Safety Training Program (ATSTP). You can access the website by clicking here.

New users should view the following PowerPoint presentation or PDF document, which outlines how to use the ATSTP website.

All motorcyclists and moped drivers must have proof of completion of a valid DoD-approved safety course to operate a motorcycle or moped on post. Request traffic safety classes on the Army Traffic Safety Training Program website by selecting "View Available Courses," "Pacific" region, and "Hawaii" garrison, and the desired course. Quick questions about motorcycle safety regulations? Check out the Personal Protective Equipment and Motorcycle Inspection checklists.

For additional questions, call 808-655-5948.
